Mary Teraji
A passionate creator since childhood, Mary has explored various forms of artistic expression, from drawing and painting to dancing and acting. She's always followed the path that needed to be made from scratch, the one that provided the most unique experiences. Whether it's creating costumes out of recycled material for renegade fashions shows or working in a bakery in Germany, whatever she's doing has to spill outside the lines of convention.
Through it all, film and photography has been her enduring medium of choice. From Titanic remakes with her Barbies and a VHS camcorder to the award-winning documentary The Muralists’ Beautiful Pain, the ultimate goal of her creative endeavors has always been to tell stories.
Now, with 30 years of life experimentation, her focus is on collaborative art, teaching others the magic of photographing the Milky Way.
"For me, creativity is not about what you make, but how you make it. And the most important ingredient is who you make it with."
