“I didn’t pick up a camera to become a photographer, I picked up a camera to find myself".

In 99’ I had a relationship go south (to put it in nicer terms) I was done with everyone and everything. So I went over to Walmart and picked up a camera, the Nikon N60, which I still have today. About a week later I went to the humane society and adopted a puppy, Named him “Nikon” From there Nikon and I headed up to the SanJan Mountains and I started teaching myself how to take pictures. I went through a LOT of film!! I was rewarded for my efforts in 1999, when I got one of my pictures “Survivor” published on the cover of the 99/2000 Durango phone book. I knew I was on the right path to finding myself.

My “Boys” Hass and Sam

Being behind a camera is where I feel most at home. It’s been my passion for many years now. To be able to share my experiences and knowledge would both be an honor and a privilege .
